IPOD

So last year my house was robbed. along with other things my iPod was stolen. the perp was apprehended and my belongings were taken as evidence. this happened last march, and i have been calling for the last 8 months. i have not had any success. long story short i got a call today and the officer in charge of the evidence informs me that my iPod was destroyed, along with 2 or 3 ohters in the same box. sooo yeahhh. now i have to wait form his form to be sent into whatever department and then one to be sent back to me. so who knows. bottom line, 275 dollars was destroyed because someone did not use their critical thinking skills. but on the other hand, mistakes happen and people mess up. this is life. so, no worries, its only money. in the end, money does not matter

Well John I definalty agree with you that money shouldn't matter, but it seems to matter a great deal. I mean I don't think it is the key to happiness at all. I think those with money need to know just how hard it is for those of us that don't. I have struggled all my life without money and yes its been hard, but I have a roof over my head. It would be nice to be comfortable financially. I have friends that make a lot of money and they don't understand when I can't do things with them because I don't have the money. It doesnt even phase them.

That is a very positive outlook on a very frustrating situation. Its very refreshing to see an individual with your attitude towards life. Its true that in most cases you cant control what happens in your life, although some people think that they can. The best way to adapt is to learn to roll with the punches, and it looks you are well on your way.
